Hey everyone,

After some extensive bug testing and server optimization, the new node is ready. As mentioned before in our Discord server, we are having performance issues with our upstream provider for DE-1, so we will be transferring all servers on DE-1 to a new node in the Netherlands.

This new node features CPU cores with better single core performance, higher disk speeds (up to 25x faster), and much faster networking (1gbps to 10gbps). This should greatly improve the snappiness of your server!

We are also changing the default disk allocation from 512mb to 1gb. If you have a Testdriver Plus plan, you will have 1.5gb of total disk space. If you received additional disk space from giveaways/contests, your server will have the base of 1gb + the additional disk space. However, all free servers are capped at a maximum of 2gb disk space. If your server has more than 2gb after the boost, we will drop it down to 2gb. If you had more than 2gb before the boost, we will not change your disk space. Additionally, we will be moving away from the free 24/7 model to a timer based system as mentioned before in our Discord server.

Due to the large volume of servers we have to transfer, we cannot pinpoint a specific time at which your server will go offline for the transfer. We are planning to move servers between 2/27 at 3PM to 2/28 6PM (Pacific time), so expect your server to go down during this time for a few minutes. No action is required on your end and if anything unexpected comes up, please feel free to send me a message.

All paid users have already been transferred off of DE-1. If you are unhappy with the new server location, please open a ticket. As for free users on different nodes, this does not affect you. However, if you would like to move to this new node now, we can accommodate that. Please open a ticket and let us know.
